‘the one place i think you must go is the Pittenweem Chocolate Company and Cocoa Tree Cafe.’ - Cat Harvey, BBC

BBC Radio Scotland is the latest media company to put the East Neuk - and our Pittenweem Chocolate Company - in the spotlight! Yesterday, on the Kaye Adams Programme, travel writer Cat Harvey praised our little corner of the world, following her recent visit to Elie, St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Crail.

Presenter, Kaye Adams, also interviewed our very own founder/owner and chocolate maker, Sophie Latinis, who talked about chocolate scones, why she won’t call herself a chocolatier, finding her way to the East Neuk of Fife (via Belgium and South Africa) and the inspiration behind the Pittenweem Chocolate Company.

Sophie also took the opportunity to highlight some of our most exciting local producers, including the East Neuk Salt Co. and Ardross Farm Shop.

‘Sophie, you have us salivating with the chocolate scones, and the frozen raspberry jam, oooh…’ - Kaye Adams,  BBC
